Do you enjoy a sing-a-long in the shower? Do you want to meet new colleagues from across the organisation? Or perhaps you just fancy doing something different in your lunch hour? If any of the above apply to you then come along and join the Cardiff University Inspire Choir.
A new University-wide initiative, the choir aims to bring energy, positivity and passion to the workplace. Members will come together for one hour a week to sing motown, rock, pop and chart music as well as some of the Welsh rugby classics.
The choir is open to anyone – you don’t need to be the best singer in the world and there are no auditions. All we ask is that you come armed with enthusiasm, energy and the desire to have fun.
Weekly choir sessions will be held on Tuesdays at 1pm in the Great Hall, Students’ Union and will last an hour.
Many of you will have already seen members of the Sing and Inspire team across campus promoting the choir. The first taster session held earlier last week attracted more than 50 people who all left with big smiles and a spring in the step.

If you would like to get involved in something on a more public scale, auditions open for the University Symphony Chorus in January. To hear what you could be part of, come to the University Symphony Chorus’s performance in City Hall on 13 December 2013, at 7.30 p.m. See the Cardiff University Concert’s site for details.
