Please take this opportunity to review your objectives for the forthcoming year to inform what activities will support you in delivering successfully within your role and your teams. If you have line management responsibility, please consider areas for development within your teams to identify a relevant event(s) to support individuals to deliver in their role.
To apply to attend a Staff Development Programme event all course booking requests must be submitted via the Core Portal (Cardiff People), the University’s new self-service system. You can log into the Portal using your network username and password at: pobl.cardiff.ac.uk
You can find course descriptions, search for events and dates and submit a training request via the Portal.
All training requests must be approved by your line manager (via the Portal). They will need to check the availability of budget funds (if appropriate) before they approve the training request.
Once your training request has been approved you will receive an email confirming you have a place on an event. 7 days before the event is due to run, you will receive an email confirming final arrangements.
