The College of Biomedical & Life Sciences are pleased to confirm that there were a fantastic 37 successful cases for promotion in the year 2014/2015. 11 of these cases were to Personal Chair, 9 to Reader and 17 to Senior Lecturer.
The successful candidates have been contacted by their respective areas and congratulated on their achievements. In addition, we are pleased to confirm that a high proportion have expressed enthusiasm in acting as Mentors to those interested in, or intending to, submit for promotion in the 2016/17 cycle.
Information detailing willing participants has been collated cross college and is available from your local HR team who will be able to assist you in identifying a mentor based on subject area, grade, and career pathway.

The College of Biomedical & Life Sciences, along with Colleges of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences and Physical Sciences have also developed a specific workshop which provides those who wish to act as Mentors in the broadest sense with the necessary skills and tools to adopt this role.
