You will all know that the National Student Survey (NSS) is now live to receive students’ views on a number of areas of their education from quality of teaching, assessment and feedback, to their overall satisfaction with their programme. The College of Biomedical and Life Sciences has the highest response rate in the University at 66%, however we have a lower response rate than at the same point last year (76.6%) so there is still time for a last-push to gather students’ feedback in this survey.
Just as the NSS heads towards a closing deadline, the equivalent survey for Postgraduate Taught Students (Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, PTES) has launched on 1st April 2014. Traditionally, we have lower engagement from students with this survey, so the College is very keen to ensure that our Postgraduate students get an opportunity to have their say on the quality of their programmes. Some promotional material is available to promote PTES engagement and if you would like copies then please copy Bethan Foweraker (FowerakerB@cardiff.ac.uk), University Student Voice Officer.
