Practice and Policy Board

The Practice and Policy Board provide independent external review, advice and support on the operation and strategic development of CASCADE, to enable CASCADE to achieve its twin goals of research-informed practice and practice-informed research.

The Board includes representatives from policy, practice and service user stakeholder groups. The group provide feedback to their organisations and in turn, raise awareness and canvas support for the work of CASCADE from those organisations.

It is anticipated that the Board will advise on the following:

  • identifying research priorities
  • strategies for generating research income and identifying funding opportunities
  • priorities and formats for engagement events
  • the format and dissemination of CASCADE publications

The Board meets on a bi-annual basis. The latest meeting was on 11/10/2018.
