Come and discover how your brain works at the new and exciting Cardiff University Brain Games!


Aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils (aged 8-11), The Brain Games form a set of fun and interactive competitive activities offering primary school children the chance to collect points and win prizes.

As part of Brain Awareness Week, which aimes to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research, Cardiff University is holding its very own Brain Games at The National Museum Cardiff on Sunday 17th March 2013.

The Brain Games is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is designed to highlight the range of brain related research undertaken at Cardiff University.


Interested in how your brain works? Want to shrink your Mum or Dad to the size of a baby? Want to learn how to move objects using your eyes?

Come along to the Brain Games at Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Cardiff to see if you can beat your friends!


Here are some of the games which took place..

Ghost Hand

How well do you think you know your body? Be amazed as we trick your brain into believing a rubber hand feels as real as your own!

Jedi Brain

Can you feel the force? Use your brain waves to make the ball float higher than your friends!

Flipped Shoot-Out

How well can you shoot when your world is turned upside down?

 

Keep Your Cool

Are you good under pressure? Work your way along the buzz wire while we measure how well you can keep your cool.
