Care Minister visits CUBRIC

£15.5M Secured in Quadruple Funding Success for CUBRIC

Researchers at the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) are celebrating quadruple success in securing over £15.6 million in external funding from the EPSRC, Wolfson Foundation, MRC and Wellcome Trust for the new CUBRIC which will open in the Spring of 2016.

Dr Claudia Metzler-Baddeley is the lead investigator in a project which will seek to establish why being obese in midlife is associated with a much higher risk of developing dementia later.
