Cardiff University Enterprise hosts the Confessions of an Entrepreneur speaker series, bringing a variety of experienced entrepreneur to Cardiff University. The speakers provide significant insight into the world of running/developing businesses and what businesses are looking for in future employees.
The objective of the series is to bring business leaders to share their insights on current business.

Emma is a graduate of Law from Glamorgan University and a Master of Business and Law which she gained at Swansea University in 2008. Emma also graduated with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Cardiff University in 2012 and now applies her knowledge and experience to teaching Business graduates at further and higher education.
For the past 7 years, Emma has also been director and sole shareholder of a successful mobile phone business which specialised in business mobiles. After 3 years of networking with other business owners and attending business exhibitions, Emma saw a gap in the market and an opportunity to develop more tailored business shows in the UK and began planning her first event here in Wales.
Emma, is a great supporter of networking, which was an inspirational factor in the setting up of the Welsh Business Show.

Creative Director of Blue Stag Studio.
He inspires the creative team and oversees all creative output to ensure that it is of the quality set out by the company. Dan also performs website analysis, and provides expert site reviews to define all project strategies. Dan is responsible for the conception and implementation of promotional materials, email campaigns and direct marketing campaigns. He is also a graduate of the University of Glamorgan.
Dan will be speaking about the effective use of Social Media in business.

Managing Director, Dischromatics
Gareth will be speaking on topics of employability, economic forecasting and working within a family business. Gareth is a graduate of Cardiff University and had developed Dischromatics with a range of services including Digital Print Department and Creative Digital Media Brand.
Gareth is a Champion of Young People and Entrepreneurship through Welsh Government Dynamo Role Model Programme, as a Young Enterprise Mentor. He is also involved as Corporate Patron at University of Wales, Newport by offering Work Experience.
