Welsh Baccalaureate teachers and coordinators are invited to attend a free one day skills development event which aims to improve the confidence of staff in delivering the skills challenge certificate. Formerly the Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher Conference, the new Skills Challenge Certificate Conference has been developed by Cardiff University academics in partnership with advisory teachers. The conference programme has been structured around the different stages of the research process. The workshops will give delegates the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of different research methods and analysis techniques, as well as the opportunity to collect and analyse their own data. This teacher conference is funded by CSC and EAS regional consortia. Teachers from across Wales are welcome to register to attend, however priority will be given in the first instance to teachers from schools within CSC and EAS. The conference is open to teachers delivering to key stage 4 and/or key stage 5 students. Follow the link to find out more.
