Dylai gweithgarwch partneriaeth fod yn bwrpasol ac yn canolbwyntio ar welliant; dylai fod gan bob myfyriwr lais i\u2019w alluogi i fod yn gyd-gr\u00ebwr profiad addysgol gwell, boed hynny trwy gynrychiolaeth neu fecanweithiau adborth eraill, a dylai myfyrwyr ddeall sut mae eu hadborth yn cael ei ddefnyddio a\u2019i werthfawrogi. Yn ymarferol, mae partneriaeth yn golygu ymgysylltu \u00e2 myfyrwyr trwy gydol proses fel y gallant fod yn rhan o&#8217;r gwaith o lunio problemau a chanfod atebion. Mae'n hanfodol bod myfyrwyr yn teimlo bod eu barn yn cael ei gwerthfawrogi a'i bod yn cael effaith. Mae hyn yn cefnogi dysgwyr i ddod yn hyderus wrth gymryd cyfrifoldeb am eu dysgu eu hunain ac yn hyrwyddo galluedd.
