01/07/2014, 19:00 - 20:45
‘I’ll tell you what happened because it will be a good way to introduce my brother. His name’s Simon. I think you’re going to like him. I really do. But in a couple of pages he’ll be dead. And he was never the same after that.’
We’re delighted to announce The Shock of the Fall is our next BookTalk read. Nathan Filer’s critically acclaimed novel about schizophrenia and guilt won the Costa Book Award and is a gripping read.
A panel of experts will respond to the book from their expertise, discussing schizophrenia, healthcare, grief and much more. Come and join in our open discussion and tell us what you thought of the book!
Tea and coffee will be served from 6.30pm in the Optometry Building foyer, with event starting promptly at 7pm.
