Neuroimaging of ADHD

15/02/2018, 15:00 - 16:00

All are welcome to attend this free public lecture delivered by Prof Katya Rubia, who is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at King’s College London, on ‘Neuroimaging of ADHD: From biomarker search to neurotherapy’.

Prof Rubia will present latest meta-analytic findings of structural and functional deficits in ADHD and their disorder-specificity relative to other childhood disorders. She will also discuss recent translational neuroimaging approaches such as imaging-based diagnostic classification of ADHD and neurotherapies involving fMRI-neurofeedback and brain stimulation.

Registration will open from 2.30pm, with the public lecture taking place from 3-4pm in the Sir Martin Evans Building Anatomy Lecture Theatre (Room E/0.09).

The lecture is hosted by Cardiff University’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) and School of Psychology as part of Cardiff University’s Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) neurodevelopmental research day.
