The 90th Joint Session of the Aristotelian Society and the Mind Association

The Joint Session is a three-day annual conference in philosophy that was first held in 1910. It has taken place at nearly every major university in Great Britain and Ireland. It has grown to become the largest gathering of philosophers in the country, attracting significant philosophers from all parts of the globe working in a broad range of philosophical areas.

Accommodation: University accommodation at Colum Hall or Aberdare Hall is about 5 minutes walk from conference location. These can be booked through the registration page. City centre hotels are about 20 minutes walk from the conference location.

Nearest train station: Cathays, which is a 5 minute local train journey from Cardiff Central. Go to platform 6 and take a Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare or Treherbert train and Cathays is the second stop.
