Speaker: Steve Jones, University College London
Professor Steve Jones is a Principal Research Associate in the Genetics, Evolution & Environment department at UCL. His research focuses on the relationship between habitat changes in snail-shell variations and this work has also been extended to natural populations of fruit flies. His research also looks at genetic differences in pain reception in populations from different climates and exposure to thermal stress. Steve Jones is also involved in public lectures including to schools and speaks on genetics and evolution on radio and television and in the press.
