  • Dr Gareth Enticott

    My research examines the impact of bovine Tuberculosis (bTB) amongst farmers and vets. It focuses on how farmers are affected by bTB; farmers' perceptions of disease risk; farmers attitudes towards disease prevention and wildlife control; the governance of animal disease; and the changing status of veterinary expertise in managing animal disease.

  • Dr Dimitris Potoglou

    I am a Lecturer in Transport and Applied Choice Analysis. Prior to joining the Cardiff School of Planning and Geography, I worked as a Research Policy-Analyst at RAND Europe, a not-for-profit research institute based in Cambridge, UK (since 2008, now part-time) and a post-doctoral fellow at the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands (2006-2008).

  • Dr Alex Franklin

    As Research Fellow at the Sustainable Places Research Institute (PLACE), I am jointly responsible for the Work Package theme of ‘City-Regions in Adaptation and Transition’, with Professor Terry Marsden.

    Prior to joining PLACE I was a Senior Research Associate and Research Manager in the ESRC Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS). Here I was primarily responsible for the work package themes of Sustainable Lifestyles and Communities; and Sustainable Consumption and Marketing.

    I hold a degree in Geography (University of Hull), a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (University of Glamorgan), a Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methods (Cardiff University), and a PhD from the School of City and Regional Planning, Cardiff University. In 2003 I was awarded an ESRC Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship.
