Information Security Training

Robot_Training_Small

In the University, we handle large volumes of information daily, including personal information about staff and students, financial information, and research data.

All staff at Cardiff are expected to contribute to the safeguarding of information so we all need to understand what information security means in practice.

This training will help you understand the risks to information security that the University faces and what we are doing to protect against those risks. The training will provide links to tools in the University’s Information Security Framework to help you apply information security in your work. And it will inform you of your personal role in applying information security, in practice.

The 2019 iteration of the training is live and can be accessed from Learning Central, using your University network login username and password.

By selecting the ‘Cymraeg Language Pack’ in Learning Central you may complete the training in Welsh.

To verify your CoreHR records have been updated follow these instructions.
