Funded Projects

The members of LawLab, in tune with our mission, are involved in a wide range of project work – both collaborative and individually led research – with the aim of experimenting with methods, technologies and approaches that help us to analyse the relationship between law, regulation and the living social environment.

Within the Law Department some of our staff have secured external funding to support empirical work that is directed at producing important insights about different social groups in a way that helps us to better understand the relationship between law and society. Some of our LawLab members are also engaged in meta-disciplinary work that while centralising the academic specialism of law, is aimed at enhancing insight and understanding the work that legal academics are engaged in and the relevancy of law as a field for collaborative cross-disciplinary project work. Here we profile a number of funded projects led by LawLab members.
