Postgraduate Taught Programmes
The Wales Governance Centre offers an MS Econ Welsh Politics and Government, convened by Professor Richard Wyn Jones and Professor Roger Scully. This degree can be taken full-time or part-time, with lectures scheduled outside of the normal working day for the convenience of individuals working full-time. We also offer an LLM in Governance and Devolution, convened by Professor Dan Wincott, and can also be taken on a full-time or part-time basis.
The Wales Governance Centre is passionate about identifying and working with talented young researchers. Academic staff at the Centre are experienced in the supervision and examination of research degrees, and welcome enquiries and applications for study.
The Wales Governance Centre provides a 1 day Continuing Professional Development course through the Centre for Lifelong Learning. We are also able to design bespoke training courses in politics, policy and law for professional organisations.
Pathway to Undergraduate Degree in Politics and International Relations
The Politics and International Relations pathway is made up of six 10-credit Modules. It is equivalent to 50% of the first year of a degree, and is intended to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to study a degree in International Relations and Politics at Cardiff University.
