Dr Zhao is Associate professor from Department of Hydraulic Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Tianjin University, China. His research is focused on hydraulics, particularly simulation and control of water conveyance projects. Attending in National Science and Technology Support Program on South-to-North Water Transfer Project, China, he made great research progress in stability of floating-ice and submerged-ice, the mechanization of ice sheet growth and decay, ice sheet stability, characteristics and control of ice force, and ice-disaster prevention basing on the prototype experimental, modeling test and computer simulation.<\/p>\n
