His research is dedicated to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contributing to the implementation of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030), and he has been involved in Cumulative Pressure Impacts on Marine Ecosystems, Blue Carbon and Ocean Carbon Sinks, Coastal Zone Ecosystem Function Assessment, and Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) related work for nearly a decade.
