\"Chris\"<\/a>Dr Chris Groves<\/a><\/strong>‘ work focuses on how people and institutions negotiate and deal with an intrinsically uncertain future \u2013 one increasingly imagined against the backdrop of global environmental change and accelerating technological innovation\u00a0 (such as in personalised genetic testing, and bio-\/nanotechnology ). The monograph Future Matters: Action, Knowledge, Ethics<\/em> (Brill, 2007), co-authored with Professor Barbara Adam (Social Science, Cardiff University), examines these themes in depth. \"dunkley-ria-web\"<\/a>Dr Ria Dunkley<\/a><\/strong> is a\u00a0Research Associate at the Sustainable Places Research Institute. She is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) at the University of Warwick. Ria\u2019s research focuses on building Sustainable Communities through community-led sustainability action in Wales and the Cardiff city-region. She is also involved in funded projects concerning collaboration between the arts and the social-sciences in sustainability research and Education for Sustainability at the University of Warwick.
