The Welsh language is a part of the heritage of Wales, and is also a medium through which that heritage is presented and interpreted. So far, however, relatively little attention has been given to the place of Welsh in the ‘heritage industry’, beyond the need to ensure the bilingual interpretation of heritage to the public.
