Humanities Connect encourages and supports high-quality innovative and collaborative research involving the Humanities at Cardiff. As a forum for events, research strategy and cross disciplinary themes, Humanities Connect is both an internal and outward facing body.

Providing a voice for the Humanities within Cardiff University, at cross university events and workshops and supporting multidisciplinary research, Humanities Connect acts a gateway to Humanities Research at Cardiff University. This site will provide information about the Humanities at Cardiff to those who would like to know more, would like to collaborate or would like to keep up to date with research activities within the Humanities. The ‘For Staff’ pages also contains useful information for Humanities staff at Cardiff interested in applying for research, support, funding, collaborations and knowledge exchange, as well as an opportunity to keep up to date with upcoming Humanities events and your colleagues’ research.

A number of humanities-wide initiatives are actively supported by Humanities Connect, including the AHRC funded REACT Knowledge Exchange Hub, recent Block Grant Partnership funding for graduates and Digital Humanities initiatives with Bristol University. You can find out more about these project through the links above. We welcome suggestions for activities, events, projects or collaborations that Humanities Connect might facilitate.

The Humanities at Cardiff combines expertise from eight individual schools. For more information about these schools please see Humanities Schools.
