Held in the Sbark\/Sparc building, the event saw researchers from across the university deliver a range of exciting activities showcasing the amazing variety of things that scientists do.<\/p>\n<p>We talked to visitors about how archaeologists often use science to find out about the past. We brought out our Keyence Digital Microscope, which we used to take a look at some of our artefacts, spanning from the Paleolithic to the 20th Century!<\/p>\n<p>We also played &#8216;Bone Snap&#8217; &#8211; four humeri (funny bone in your arm) were laid out and visitors were asked to determine which animal each of them belonged to.<\/p>\n<p>A huge thank you to the organisers of the event, and to our volunteers: Sophie, Izabella, Megan, Lily, Gwennan, Sophie, Isabelle, Naomi and Melissa!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Yesterday, SHARE with Schools was at the Cardiff University \u2018Be a Scientist!\u2019 event as part of the Cardiff Science Festival.
