UCAS Strategy Day

I attended the UCAS Strategy Day with the Vice-Chancellor today. At the meeting, held at the University of London, we reflected on the strategy for 2010-2015 and reminded ourselves exactly how much the context and external environment has changed since its inception.

Much of the day was spent looking at a new strategy for 2015-2020 – what this may look like, the ambitious vision needed in a changing environment and the need for a dynamic and responsive platform to deliver the strategy. As Deputy Vice-Chancellor with the Admissions Review coming under my portfolio it is essential that I attend such meetings, they help inform our approach at Cardiff and ensure we align with the sector.
