Baoming Guo

Project: Assessment of Wave Energy and Environmental Impact of Its Exploitation

Baoming joined the Coastal Research group in April 2021, who is fully supported by Cardiff University and CSC. His research project is to assess the wave energy resources and generation techniques, as well as the impact of the wave energy extraction on the marine and coastal environment.  The research will develop and apply the advanced numerical modelling system, calibrated by the lab and field data, to the sites both in the UK and China, which is also expected to impact on the planning of renewable energy industry.
