Methods and techniques of river rewilding restoration

Dr Yang is Associate Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture, Tianjin University, China. Supported by CSC, she is currently an academic visitor to the Coastal Research Group, using the river survey data to analyse the ecological features and combine the statistical analysis with physical reasoning to construct a theoretical model for river rewilding restoration to extract the driving factors for river rewilding projects. The research will be conducted using the framework of “current status characteristics analysis -causality dissection – intrinsic mechanism exploration – restoration model establishment”.
