Design and evaluation of ecological conservation areas for large rivers and waterways
Dr Liu is Senior Engineer at Yangtze River Waterway Institute of Planning and Design, Wuhan, China. His research is focused on Waterway planning, regulation and maintenance; sediment movement and riverbed regulation. He has been involved in more than 10 others projects, including water and sediment transport, riverbed evolution, inland/waterway planning, regulation, maintenance, dredging and evaluation, and won a number of prizes.
