Invited by Prof Lian of Tianjin University, Shunqi attended the 254th China Engineering Science and Technology Forum held in Tianjin from 20 -22 Sept 2017. This is a very high profile forum under the China Academy of Engineering, at which prominent fellows are invited to present their highly influential projects and research. Shunqi made a presentation of modelling extreme waves and surge in the Northwest Pacific Ocean Region, which was undertaken by Jiangxia when she was visiting Cardiff supported by CSC.
