Prof Junqiang Xia, who was visiting HRC between 25 June and 18 July supported by RAEng and GCRF grants, gave an excellent seminar on “Mechanics-based Modelling of Flood Risks in Urban and Rural Areas”. The seminar was well attended by the academic staff and research students.
