Originally from Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, I have been in Cardiff since 2006 when starting my Genetics BSc. This was interposed by a period of teaching English in a rural Chinese Primary school, and a year working for the NHS Blood and Transplant department between my undergraduate and PhD studies.

I like rock climbing, scuba diving and flying kites.
