Student Futures Framework
Having the opportunity to develop employability skills and secure graduate-level outcomes after university is increasingly important to students. As the job market becomes more complex and fluid, we have a responsibility to ensure that our students have the skills and attributes to navigate change and uncertainty, transition into the workplace effectively and manage successful careers throughout their life.
The Student Futures Framework has been developed to guide and support the integration of employability into the student experience via curricular and extracurricular activities available to students throughout their time at university. It offers a structured approach to embedding employability into the curriculum, ensuring that students have adequate opportunities to enhance their employability and be well prepared for life after graduation.
The Framework covers;
- The institutional approach to employability
- Defining employability and its associated terms
- Engaging with the Framework
- Activities supported by Student Futures
