Accommodation is booked for 5 nights from the 23rd August (Sun) leaving on the 28th August (Friday). Rooms are ensuite and single. You have been allocated rooms at the Senghennydd Hall residences. These are modern self-catering flats and are located only 10 minutes away from the Trevithick Canteen where breakfast is served. The residence is building number 46 on the University locations map. Accommodation is only a short walk from the conference venue at the Park Plaza
Your stay
On arrival, keys should be collected from the reception at Senghennydd Court after 15:00 (building number 47 on the University locations map). Office hours are between 08:00-22:00. If you will be arriving outside these hours please contact us so alternative arrangements can be made. Alternatively please contact Security on arrival on +44 (0)29 2087 4444. If you are arriving by taxi ask the driver to drop you off at Senghennydd Court Reception and not on Senghennydd Road. The reception is adjacent to the railway line at the rear of the site.
On the day of departure rooms should be vacated by 10:00 unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with reception. Keys should be returned to Senghennydd Court Reception.
Lunch and breakfast will be provided on site every day as part of the Summer School. Food served as part of the Sunday and Thursday evening social events is also included in the conference. Breakfast will be served in the Trevithick Canteen (near the School of Physics and Astronomy, building number 58 on the University locations map) from 07:30 until 09:00.
Bed linen and towels are provided and tea and coffee making facilities are available in your bedroom.
Guest wifi
Cardiff University Guest Wifi is available to guests free of charge. The service will provide access from a laptop or mobile device to public web pages and web-based email only; other services may not work.
