Universidade do Porto is based in Porto and is the largest education and research institution in Portugal.
MEDOW staff and fellows are based in the Faculty of Engineering, which is known as FEUP.
The University hosts one ESR, Mohammad Meraj Alam. The ESR based at EFACEC, Ataollah Mokhberdoran, is enrolled on a PhD programme at Universidade do Porto.
