A network training meeting was held in Cardiff 06 – 08 July 2016
MEDOW research and training funds have been used to provide training and communication opoprtunities to researchers from outside the network.
MEDOW researchers, joined by other researchers, took part in a number of activities, including a visit to National Grid’s National Control Centre, workshops on postdoctoral funding opportunities and good thesis writing, training on networking and personal impact, and a project public Open Day and Energy Exhibition.
The Open Day and Exhibition attracted over one hundred visitors and was an excellent way to show off the project’s work as well as allow researchers to network with other doctoral students in the field of energy.
